Dr. Marissa Hake is a graduate of Michigan State University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine and a Masters in Public Health. Her interests include young-stock care and handling, on-farm protocol and culture development and animal welfare. She is passionate about communicating with consumers about modern agriculture through her personal social media accounts – @CalfVet on Facebook and @CalfVet_ on Instagram. She lives with her husband Travis and their son McCoy in NW Ohio where they cash-crop farm, raise wean-finish pigs, raise replacement heifers and beef cattle.
