Sarah Dachos is the Regional Coordinator and D.C. Representative for Farmer Veteran Coalition. She is an urban beekeeper who manages hives throughout the city, volunteers at a D.C. farm that produces food for the local community, and tries to eradicate an invasive species of fish while contributing to hunger relief with her work at Wide Net Project. Sarah is currently studying Urban Agriculture and Sustainability at the University of the District of Columbia’s College of Agriculture, Urban Sustainability and Environmental Science and is a Power Agronomy Fellow under the same. Sarah is a military veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy for more than 20 years.
