John Kimbrough is a firefighter and chaplain who resides in College Station, Texas, with his amazing wife, Erin, and their four children. As a family, they have ventured together in sheep and goat production as well as cattle production.
John and Erin work together to teach veterans about farming and ranching through their farm Growin on Faith and the “Battleground to Breaking Ground” program.
John served for 12 years in the U.S. Marine Reserves in artillery where he worked with various weapon designs; he finished his career with the HYMARS project.
John has worked in the fire service for more than 20 years. He is currently a driver/operator, and fire department chaplain, with specialization in wildland firefighting.
