Gina likes to communicate. She talks. She writes. She enjoys the art of telling a good story. Since 2015, she’s been the Northern Nut Growers Association’s Communication and Membership Manager, furthering its mission in promoting scientific research regarding temperate nut trees. She is the producer and host of the Go Nuts! Podcast, editor and designer for The Nutshell publication, and manager and writer for NNGA social media platforms. Her background in academia lends itself well to her work with the NNGA; she is All But Dissertated in Literacy, Rhetoric, and Social Practices from Kent State University and once enjoyed a career as a Writing Center Director and English professor. She calls Cleveland, Ohio her home and enjoys cuddling with her Great Pyrneese, Gandalf, riding her tricycle, and playing Dungeons and Dragons with her husband and friends.
