Area Agricultural Economics Specialist for the Southeast District

JJ Jones is an Area Agricultural Economics Specialist for the Southeast District of the Oklahoma State University Cooperative Extension Service. He has worked in extension for 28 years starting in Tennessee and moving back to Oklahoma in 2004. JJ was raised on a small cattle operation in Alex, Oklahoma and now raises goats and sheep in Roff, Oklahoma. He attended Oklahoma State University where he received a B.S. in Animal Science and an M.S in Agricultural Economics. JJ works in all areas related to farm management and business planning. JJ is also the leader for the OSU Meat Goat Education Team which is responsible for the OSU Meat Goat Boot Camp and OSU Meat Goat YouTube channel.
