Grower Relations Manager
Lily had recently been working as a grower relations manager for a hazelnut packer where she works with growers across the Willamette Valley to recruit and maintain a stable supply of hazelnuts. She is also an independent farm business consultant, primarily working with first generation farmers to improve the profitability and economic sustainability of their operations. She previously owned and operated a diversified vegetable farm in Fairfield, California for 10 years. Originally from California, she earned a bachelors degree in Environmental Studies with a focus in Sustainable Agriculture from UC Santa Cruz, and studied abroad in Agronomy at the Universidad Católica de Chile. She has a certificate in Accounting from UC Davis. She completed two assignments through the USAID funded Farmer-to-Farmer program in the Dominican Republic. She is currently working towards an MS-MBA in Food and Agribusiness Management through Purdue and Indiana University. Lily lives in McMinnville, Oregon with her husband and enjoys exploring the great outdoors, running, and traveling in her free time.
