Farm Rescue

Development Officer for Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa

Lynne is the Development Officer for Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa at Farm Rescue. She is extremely passionate for all things agriculture related, helping rural residents and communities thrive as well as keeping family farms and ranches sustainable. Most recently, her career includes working as the State Director for USDA Rural Development, and the Ag Business Development Director for the Kansas Department of Agriculture. She joined Farm Rescue to help family farms and ranches bridge crises, so they have an opportunity to continue viable operations. Farm Rescue provides planting, haying, harvesting and livestock feeding assistance to farm and ranch families that have experienced a major injury, illness or natural disaster. Farm Rescue gives families a chance to continue their livelihood by providing the necessary equipment and manpower (free of charge) to get the job done. Lynne resides outside of Westmoreland, KS where she and her family own and operate Hinrichsen Ranch, a registered Angus cattle operation. She is a graduate from Michigan State University with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Animal Science and Agricultural Communications.
